As Montessori is all about giving as much independence to your child, an accessible bed is a must in any Montessori inspired bedroom.
In my house, I used a single mattress on a slatted base. It was a simple as that. It was also 12 years ago and since, the world of Montessori inspired furniture has grown!
Now, if you google Montessori Floor Bed, you will come across many options.
I have selected the following floor beds as they are from reputable sources and have been recommended by some of my clients.

This is a company based in Belgium and they deliver in Europe. This bed will fit a standard cot bed mattress. It is made in Belgium, safe and eco-friendly.
This bed is similar to the one above. A box kind of bed. And it's stackable. They even sell sets of 2 in case you need 2!

Wayfair is a reputable online furniture shop. They have several options. You can see pictures from customers and read several reviews for each model.
I like this one which is very affordable.It accommodates a single mattress and is made from solid pine.

Still on Wayfair, the brand Harriet Bee has several options.

Sprout is a US based company. They deliver to Europe although the shipping might be a bit too much.
The bed is super easy to assemble and you can flip it over to have it totally on the floor or a bit higher for a young child.

This UK based company has its own website and also sells on Etsy.
They have several house type beds options.

This company has been recommended by Gemma, from the Hidden Gem. It's the bed they have chosen for their son's Montessori inspired bedroom.
