The little Montessori me picture book – new Montessori book

I've been sent a lovely new picture book about the life of a toddler raised the Montessori way.

The book is called "The Little Montessori Me Picture book".

It's a such a lovely book with a rhyming text. It describes perfectly a Montessori lifestyle!

Each double page shows a different activity of the day, all explained in rhymes from a child’s point of view.

Activities include: •nature walks, •household tasks, •choosing activities from the shelves, •being in the garden, •climbing triangle, •reading corner,•art, self care, •preparing food, •meal times, •sleeping.

If you follow a Montessori style practice at home to any extent, your little one is bound to spot some familiar sights. Written and illustrated by teacher and mother, Inez Bunclark.

You will recognise many elements of a Montessori house such as the learning tower, the pikler triangle, some Montessori materials for toddlers, ...

Inez Bunclark is a primary school teacher and couldn't find a book that reflected the things her daughter was doing at home. So she wrote and illustrated one!

She has also published a baby book called Babe's eye view.

The book was gifted to me for review.
