Montessori Family Boxes Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before subscribing to Montessori Family boxes.

Delivery

General info

Our boxes are on sale from the 25th of the month to the 24th of the following month or until it’s out of stock, whatever comes first.

Our material is finished by hand and our boxes are hand-packed. We aim to start shipping the box from the first week of the month until the end of the month. Note that the shipping dates are not fixed. It always depends on the amount of material we have to prepare.

Your box will go out for delivery once the payment has been processed. You will receive a confirmation email once your box has been shipped. Allow 5 working days to receive your box.

After 5 working days, if you haven’t received your box, please contact us. We will wait 10 working days before advising you to receive a refund or to send you a new box.

UK Delivery

We deliver with Royal Mail Second class. Your box will go out for delivery once the payment has been processed. You will receive a confirmation email once your box has been shipped. Allow 5 working days to receive your box.

After 5 working days, if you haven’t received your box, please contact us. We will wait 10 working days before advising you to receive a refund or to send you a new box.

European delivery

We use Royal Mail and only through Tracked and Signed.

European boxes are £33

Customers are responsible for added taxes and customs due to the UK being outside CE, since Brexit.

Refund

If you are a citizen of the European Union, and you are buying as a consumer, you may cancel your order for the Services at any time before the expiry of 7 working days from the date of order, not including the day you ordered.

We will refund your money within 30 days after we have received your box back. You are eligible for any return postage incurred as long as you return the box within 14 days after delivery.

To be eligible for a refund, the box must be in resalable conditions.

Lost or Damaged boxes

If your box hasn’t arrived or has arrived damaged, please contact us immediately.

We will send you a new box or a refund if you prefer.

If a box doesn’t arrive twice to the same customer, we may reserve the right to cancel the subscription as we would not be able to guarantee that delivery is efficient in your area. 

Payment

Boxes are shipped every month after the payment has been taken from your account. Payment is taken every 30 days from the date you have subscribed to the box.

Our box is £25, including shipping in the UK, and £33 including shipping in Europe.

When you purchase a subscription, you agree to a monthly recurring payment for a period of 12 months. However, it is not a contract and you can cancel at any time, even after the first month. 

Prices can be reviewed at any point, to protect ourselves from suppliers and shipping costs increase. Any increase in price will only be for new subscribers or when you renew.

You can cancel your subscription at any time. 

PayPal processes payments automatically. If the payment cannot be taken by PayPal, the subscription is automatically canceled after 3 attempts. Please make sure your payment details are up to date in your PayPal account. PayPal accepts payments, with any credit card, without the need to have a PayPal account.

Since November 2021, Subbly is our new checkout and processes the payment. You can access your subscription through Subbly and cancel more easily through that platform. Subbly processes your data and shares them with us. Subbly allows us to generate discount codes. Subbly allows you to pay with all kinds of cards and with PayPal. 

Cancellation

You must cancel the payment on your side, on PayPal if you have subscribed before November 2021, or on Subbly if you have subscribed or renewed from November 2021. Or email us to cancel your subscription.

Payment

Payments are made through Paypal. You can use a credit card, debit card, direct debit, or your Paypal balance. You don’t need a PayPal account to subscribe.

Subbly processes your data and shares them with us. Subbly allows us to generate discount codes. Subbly allows you to pay with all kinds of cards and with PayPal. 

Skipping options

From the 22nd of June, the skipping option has been cancelled. 

As we have capped our numbers, skipping a topic or pausing your subscription is not possible anymore. You will have to cancel your subscription and join again if we have space for new subscribers. 

Current subscribers on skipping option or in need to renew

Subscribers who have paused their subscription before the 22nd of June will have priority to resume their subscription. We will email you every month to invite you back and give you priority from the 25th of the month to the 31st of the same month. After that period, the remaining spots will be offered to the general public.

Equally, we will email all the subscribers who are at the end of their first 12 months. 

Option to hold on to some of your boxes

Instead of skipping/pausing, we can ship your boxes at a later date. This is a solution if you are going on holiday. Please email us to request this service. 

Safety

The Montessori Family box is a box of educational material. Children must be supervised at all times by an adult while working with the materials.

Our boxes are designed for children 3 to 6 years old. 

The box is not suitable for children under the age of 3 as each box contains small choking materials. 

Our printed cards are CE-UKCA approved. 

As they contain small items, the use of our boxes must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Communication

When you subscribe to the Montessori Family Box, your email will be added to the email list of subscribers.

The email will be the one linked to your Paypal Account.

If you wish to use another email to communicate with me, you must contact me to update your email.

I use your email to update you about your subscription, to send you updates about the T&C, and to send you special offers for my subscribers.

This is not my general newsletter, I will also invite you to join my general newsletter.

We aim to answer your queries from Monday to Friday, between 9 am to 3 pm.
